I was very frustrated with a similar problem. I first ran the "killASPI" batch file, rebooted, then ran the "instASPI" and rebooted again. a DVD iso? So it's probably best to scan thru the results and see what applies to you.

The only thing I miss from Nero is the audio encoding for making .mp3s, but there are several open source programs for that. Check your ASPI layer configuration.
