I also searched through my files and folders that are being uploaded and could not find anything named "_vti_cnf" in them. Sorry your solution will not work in this case as these are Linux servers. It takes just 2 minutes to sign up (and it's free!). I had my web hosting company reinstall my Front Page extensions (thought they might be corrupt) but that didn't solve the problem..

I came in today and just started to get this error while trying to create a new folder/add asp page in my current project.

I would suggest maybe removing and reinstalling the Frontpage extentions from your CPanel. I get this error Server error: Cannot | create folder "_vti_cnf". CLICK OK to start the check. I would suggest maybe removing and reinstalling the Frontpage extentions from your CPanel. There is not reference to this | error message in the FrontPage help section.
