Server Application Error Iis 5.1

What else can I do? An obscure errror happens now and then with Windows XP Pro sp3 running IIS 5.1. I disabled my firewall and tried the page in IE and FF. This issue only impacts installations running ASP.NET 1.0 on Windows XP. The batch file does the following: Stops the IIS and ASP.NET state services Deletes and recreates the ASPNET account with a known temporary password Uses the Windows runas command to launch
I checked to confirm that the services started and they did. Go to Security tab and see if there are read permissions for following accounts (a) [Your Machine Name]\ASPNet (b) Network Service (c) IUSR_[YourMahineName] One of these accounts is used for running Reverse puzzling. Go to properties of the site by right clicking on the site and select Virtual directory tab.

I have expanded every folder in IIS and there simply is no Web Service Extensions folder where I can enable ASP. I can hit a test page on local host for a site but if I try to hit default aspx I get a bogus error.
